What this is. MONSTER is analysis software. It runs a set of automated strategies on a simulated (Alpaca "paper") brokerage account and publishes the results. If you link your own Alpaca paper account, the software may place simulated orders on that paper account according to your settings.

What this is not. MONSTER does not provide investment advice, recommendations or portfolio management. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. The operators are not authorised or regulated by any financial regulator. No real money is traded through this service.

Paper accounts only. The service connects only to Alpaca's paper trading endpoint. Live trading keys are not accepted. You are responsible for keeping the keys you generate restricted to paper trading.

Results. The ledger shows the actual simulated record of the software, unedited. Simulated results do not include every real-world cost and do not predict future results, simulated or real.

Your data. We store your email, a hash of your password and, if you link an account, your Alpaca paper API keys encrypted at rest. You can unlink your account at any time, which deletes the stored keys. We do not sell or share your data.

Availability. The service is provided as is, during a beta, without warranty of any kind; it may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time.
